Lanikai beach is a wonderful place to have a sunrise wedding. With regard to your video and/or photography, just keep in mind that your window of time with good lighting is pretty short. From about 15 minutes before the sun rises to about 15 minutes after the light is wonderful, but before that it's too dark and afterwards you start to get a lot of glare. So if you are getting formal photographs taken, do those during this period and do the ceremony after. That's what was done here, with some additional shots of the couple and group shots taken after the ceremony. When the photographer was doing the formals with the best light, I shot a mix of 4k and regular HD video. The 4k enabled me to do a timelapse shot of the clouds moving across the sky before sunrise to which I could add a digital zoom in the editing process without losing quality. I'll post another blog entry with some video later.
All these are stills taken from video.
