Another Captain Howie Wedding

I'm about to do a marathon of wedding shoots for Captain Howie, 25 in three weeks! So no blog posts for a while! Like all my gigs for Captain Howie this was video rather than photography. All of these photos are taken from the video.

As I've mentioned before, Captain Howie weddings ceremonies are a unique experience. The formal photography session is also somewhat unusual in that almost all the pictures are taken before the ceremony. Wedding couples get the benefit of the having the beautiful gardens and unique architecture of his home as settings for their pictures, as seen here.

A Wedding at Eternity Beach

Eternity Beach, also known as Cockroach Cove, is a very pretty little beach next to the Halona Blowhole. It is a wonderful place to take wedding photos because of all the beautiful settings. Ocean, sand, and beautiful rock formations.

There are rock ledges on either side of this tiny beach that are great settings for pictures, and the area in the back of the beach offers some good photographic opportunities as well. If you are considering this spot as a place to take pictures, keep in mind that it can be crowded here, and there is a short hike down to the beach on a fairly rough trail. Also, at high tide and with rough seas it is not safe to go up on the ledges.
